TRIATHLON - DUATHLON

TRAIL RUN

The " Sea 2 Sky Challenge" is a unique sports challenge based in Christchurch, New Zealand. The are multiple events all offering a unique challenge

  • The full challenge comprises an ocean swim followed by a tough hilly bike and the incredibly scenic run with duathletes replacing the swim with a flat run.

  • The run challenge (REVISED COURSE) is a 16km loop starting with a climb to the top of Evans Pass, before views over Lyttelton Harbour whilst traversing the Crater Rim Track before joining the triathletes and duathletes for the Godley Head & Taylors Mistake Tracks.

  • Running alongside the full challenge will be a "Tri A Try / Du" events for novice athletes and a junior race.

  • Finally we will have a Aquathon (swim/run) for kids aged 5-9 years. 

All events except the kids aquathon can be done as an individual or team

Bike 18km up and along the Summit Rd

Run 7.7km along the Godley Head Track

Try a Tri & DU

Junior Tri / Du

Swim 150m or Run 1km

Bike a flat 9km in Sunmer

Run 2km up and down the promenade
